Get your New School email address now!

Your membership in the IRP is enhanced by getting your New School email account. It includes all of the Information Technology services you are entitled to as a New School student. To access these services, including your New School email account, you need to reset your account (NetID) password, even if you have already done so in the past. This will synchronize your password across all services, and ensure that everything is working correctly.

To reset your password:

1. Visit
2. Click on the “Look up your NetID or Reset your Password” link in the login box. This will take you to the Account Services web page.
3. Click on the option “Reset Your Password” and complete the form as prompted. If you do not yet know your NetID, click on the “Look up your NetID” option prior to resetting your password.

Once you have reset your password, you can log into to find out more about the services and resources available to you. MyNewSchool provides access to email and other online services, course and personal information, registration and academic records, student financial services, library and academic technology resources, news, events, and much more.

All university communications will go to your New School email address (not your personal email address), so it is important that you check your account regularly. After you have logged into MyNewSchool, you will see a preview of your email messages on the right side of the screen. IRP TECH Free-for-All Meetings

If you have questions about your computer, i-pad, i-phone, or other electronic equipment, try visiting an IRP Tech Free-for-all where, once again this semester, some of your fellow IRP Members who have achieved a degree of facility with such objects will try to offer answers.

IRP TECH Free-for-All Meetings are from 11:30 AM to 12:10PM   on these dates: TBA

  Come with your questions about programs, email, Kindles, iPhones, etc, and our experts will do their best to answer them in person. Feel free to bring your laptop.
