Keyboard Shortcuts

For Microsoft WORD  (most versions)

 

 

The + sign means to press the first key and hold it down 

while you press the second (and/or third) key(s) 

 

To use these keyboard commands, first SELECT or HIGHLIGHT
the text you want to copy or cut, etc. You can do that with
mouse or keyboard. Then you can also Copy and Paste 
with the mouse; right-click within your selected text area, and
you will see a menu allowing you to Cut, Paste, Copy, etc.

   All Caps                     CTRL+SHIFT+A

   Bold                           CTRL+B  

   Cancel                        ESC

   Center a Paragraph      CTRL+E

   Close or Exit              ALT+F4

    any program

   Copy                        CTRL+C  

   Cut                           CTRL+X  

   Paste                       CTRL+V  

   Delete Back Word        CTRL+BACKSPACE

   Delete Word                 CTRL+DELETE

   FIND a word, phrase        CTRL+F 

    this works in any site online as well

   Go Back  (Undo)                  CTRL+Z    

   Grow Font One Point           CTRL+]

   Shrink Font One Point         CTRL+[

   Insert a Header or Footer area    ALT+SHIFT+R

   See the Help menu                      F1

   Open a Document          CTRL+O    

   Insert a Page Break     CTRL+ENTER

   Print                          CTRL+P  

   Print Preview            CTRL+F2  

   Redo or Repeat            CTRL+Y or F4 

   Save As                       Alt+F then press A   

   Select All                    CTRL+A  

   Select one word:      Double click anywhere in 

            that word

  

  Select whole line     Triple-click anywhere in line

  Select whole doc     Triple-click in left margin

  Select Table                  ALT+CLEAR (NUM 5)

  Small Caps                    CTRL+SHIFT+K

  Undo                              CTRL+Z 

              or ALT+BACKSPACE

  Move to next Word Left      CTRL+LEFT

  Move to next Word Right    CTRL+RIGHT

  Word Underline               CTRL+SHIFT+W

  Cycle or Toggle

   through your open programs           ALT+Tab

  CLOSE the program

    you're in                        ALT + F4
